So you're looking for a simple way to record your screen?

Then you should try SimpleScreenRecorder!



To get started, open a terminal, and run the following commands:

sudo apt update

sudo apt -y install simplescreenrecorder

Now run the command 'simplescreenrecorder' or find it in the Show Applications menu.

Choose to either record the entire screen, or select Record a fixed rectangle or follow the cursor and then click Select rectangle or Select window to customize the size by drawing a rectangle or clicking on a window.

Use Record cursor to include the mouse cursor in the recording.

To include sound, select Record audio and choose a source device.

Choose a file name.

Select Add timestamp to insert a timestamp to the end of the name before the extension.

Now click Start recording or press the hotkey (Ctrl + R is the default) to start recording,

You can pause and resume recording as needed by clicking Pause recording or pressing the hotkey.

When done, click Save recording.
